DIRECTOR

Steve M Kelly is one of the UK’s leading Directors working on motion pictures, prime time television features and commercials. He has been nominated for awards in each genre. In 2009 Steve made his now runaway successful debut feature film City Rats starring Tamer Hassan, Danny Dyer and Susan Lynch. His follow up movie The Shouting Men is scheduled for theatrical release Jan 2010. Steve has also recently completed four of BBC One’s flagship feature length films Judge John Deed (2006-2008) - starring Martin Shaw and Jenny Seagrove - Including a two-hour international thriller filmed on location in Den Haag, Holland. His other major films for the BBC include the inspirational and critically acclaimed Singing Cactus (2006) starring Peter Capaldi and Melanie Hill and Pieces of Silver Lining (2007) from the award winning BBC One Film series.

Steve’s unique visual flare and exceptional talents have been sought after by blue chip companies to direct major commercial campaigns for brands including: First Choice Holidays, Brains Bitter, Post Office, United Airlines, Pukka Pies, Warner Village Cinemas, Jam Jar.com, Sheridan’s, Motor show, Radio Times and Huggies.

PRODUCERS

Frank Harper, Steve Harvey, Nick Barratt and Andy Birmingham all bring different areas of expertise to St George’s Day. When brought together they complement each other perfectly to create the perfect production team.

Frank Harper - Frank has Associate Produced films of this genre including The Football Factory. As well as having worked on several films that sit within our target demographic; including Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Rise of The Footsoldier. Having starred and worked alongside top British Directors including Guy Ritchie, Shane Meadows, and Nick Love. Frank has decided to take his first foray into producing with St George’s Day. With intimate knowledge of the genre and revisiting his writing routes, Frank’s original screenplay ticks all the boxes, and it’s been a natural progression for him to write and produce his first film.

Steve Harvey - Steve has worked as a Unit Manager and Location Manager alongside some of the worlds top Producers and Directors on feature films such as Casino Royale, Da Vinci Code, Batman Begins, V For Vendetta and the Harry Potter films.
Steve has worked on 5 of the top 25 grossing feature films of all time (worldwide), and one of the biggest budget TV mini-series ever (Band of Brothers). Working closely alongside Frank, Steve has helped develop St George’s Day from day from one and has shown his complete commitment and belief in St George’s Day by turning down work on many big budget feature films over the past year.

Nick Barratt - Nick has worked as a Producer and Director for over 10 years, primarily in music and advertising. Having worked in the music industry with artists such as Destiny’s Child, Morrissey, Iron Maiden, The Strokes and Pete Docherty amongst many others; Nick has a great understanding of the importance of music within film, this has helped St George’s Day Productions Limited to tie up a deal with Sony & Universal for the St George’s Day soundtrack and score. Having Produced and Directed over 100 adverts, promo’s and trailers Nick has a superb understanding of post production, graphics, branding, marketing and the importance of how to utilise them effectively, this will prove invaluable in pitching St George’s Day to the film going audience.

Andy Birmingham - Andy has been in the industry for forty years, acting as Production Accountant on films like Clockwork Orange, Platoon, Fish Called Wanda, G.I. Jane & Troy. Has Line Produced, Exec Produced & subsequently Produced Mrs Caldicot’s Cabbage War. Andy has experience with all the major studios and has acted as the Production Executive for Paramount & Fox. Also has represented Film Finances and IFG the completion Guarantors, and has experience in Sales & Distribution.

LINE PRODUCER

Gerry Toomey - Gerry has worked in the industry for the last 30 years, his credits include huge blockbuster films such as:- Platoon, The Commitments, Frankenstein and Valkyrie. Although Gerry has also worked on other films that sit closely within our genre e.g. Rise Of The Footsoldier. We therefore feel Gerry is the perfect man to Line Produce our feature film St George’s Day. LOI’s are on file for all Directors/Producers on St George’s Day, these are also available on request to any potential investors.

CO-PRODUCERS

Craig Fairbrass – Actor and star of St George’s Day. Craig has been instrumental in developing the project.

Joss Williams – Joss runs his own special effects company Darkside FX, regularly working with top directors including Stephen Spielberg.

Danny Potts – Short Film Producer Danny has been involved in St George’s Day from day 1 and has helped develop the project throughout.

Xania Segal - Director of the highly successful casting agency Olivia Bell, who supply cast to both film and theatre.
